What is included in a Run Analysis
We tailor a treatment plan to your running style, goals, and running quality score
History: We will start by taking a history of your running past, injuries, and previous activities.
Exam: We will perform a thorough biomechanical and range of motion exam to determine where weak links might be affecting your run score.
Data Collection: We will have you run while wearing our state-of-the-art IMU to learn about your dynamic stability, symmetry, and how well you handle impact. This will be summarized by a running quality score comparing you to other runners of similar age and experience.
Treatment Plan: You will receive strengthening and range of motion exercises as well as running cues to help improve your running quality score, improve efficiency, and reduce risk of injury. We will also review how you should proceed with training based on the results of your ramp up test.
Follow-up: From here we have several options!
- Gait Retraining - use the wearable IMU during a treadmill training session and learn how to improve your running score as you run!
- One-on-one strength training, manual therapy, and chiropractic care!
- Retest in 3 months

How Do I Know if I Need a Running Analysis?
While we would like to think everyone can benefit from a running analysis, these are the common reasons people come to see us:
- Do you wonder if you pronate too much?
- Do you wonder why you wear your shoes out asymmetrically?
- Do you wonder why all your injuries are on one side of your body?
- Do you feel like you are losing speed?
- Do you have a nagging injury or chronic tightness?
