Validating Chiropractic

November 9, 2009 | by Dr. Jess

I normally don't like to write about the controversies of Chiropractic care in the medical community. Frankly, I think there is a time and place for everything: acupuncture, chiropractic, massage therapy, physical therapy, medication, etc. I also believe that one technique, modality, product, or service is not the end all cure all for everyone. In other words, it may take a combination of services. Or one person may respond very well to acupuncture for low back pain, while it may flare up another person. Today I ran across an article by Dr. Mirkin validating manipulation for low back pain. There are many research articles validating it, but this one works for me so I decided to pass it along. Click here to read his article, it's short and sweet. Source: http://www.drmirkin.com/joints/8079.html
